Andalucia Diary – Seasonal Travel Notes

Easy like Sunday morning…Preparing my permanent move to Spain

So, it's Sunday morning and after a few cups of coffee I'm reviewing progress of my plans to move to Spain. Preparations are in full-swing for my permanent relocation to Spain.

Flight – booked.
Shipping agent – booked.
Language classes – booked.

Little Mini Morado has sadly been sold – going to miss driving him around the bumpy and windy roads of England! Presently outside the house is a commercial skip, in which I have chucked everything I no longer want and have no intention of taking with me!  It's been both a sad and interesting process.  Looking through old photos of me, which ridiculous hair cuts and even chubbier face; discovering school reports from the seventies and eighties; listening to old compact cassettes from my university days; and sorting through books and pictures and choosing what is kept and what is left. It's not easy though – but I feel that it's a leap I want to make and one that even if I change my mind, will have been a risk worth taking.

So, by the end of February I hope to be over in Spain, studying part-time and working part-time on my marketing activities which will keep my link with professional life in the UK.

Be the first to like.
