If you want to catch one of Andalucia’s most intriguing festivals, then head to Guaro in September.
During second and third weekends of the September, the streets of this modest white village are transformed into an exotic destination of music, art and folklore. Over 25,000 candles light the streets, the village’s striking open air auditorium hosts flamenco and pop artists.
Access is limited – you must park outside the village and take the free shuttle busses.
