Andalucia Diary – Seasonal Travel Notes

I wanted to wish all of you who follow Andalucia Diary the very best for 2016.

I have not been updating the sight as often as I used to, but I wanted to let you know that I’m active on social media, so it’s easy to follow up dates on my travels in Spain and further afield.

Malaga this afternoon; the tower of the 16th century Palacio de Buenavista, home to the Picasso Museum Malaga collection. Once inside the museum you see the rich mix of styles from renaissance to the Mudéjar details that reflect Andalucia's Arab history. We've enjoyed an indulgent weekend in Malaga – so after these lunches and dinners I promise that tomorrow starts my new year health kick:) Malaga has really emerged over recent years as an on-trend Mediterranean city destination. Great arts scenes, acclaimed cuisine, friendly, relaxed vibe and a climate that's the best in Europe; what's not to love? The Picasso Museum is 7 euro entry but there is so much else to see in Malaga if you're a culture vulture, from the romantic collection at the Museo Carmen Thyssen, the Contemporary Arts Centre (my favourite and free!), la Térmica Arts centre and also the Centro Pompidou Malaga which offers free entry (including audio-guides to the exhibits) on a Sunday afternoon. #malaga #estaes_malaga #loves_malaga #culture #art #architecture #wintersun #Andalucia #Spain #travel #travelingram #instatravel #instagood #cityscapes
