If you want to experience some authentic Andalusian flamenco, away from the coast and the over priced restaurants and contrived shows, then head inland to the villages. Guaro may not be the most sophisticated village in Malaga, but it has a strong cultural heritage.
This July, 19 and 20, it is hosting a Flamenco festival with free performances in the village as well as gala performances in the stunning auditorium – tickets from the village tourist office or online.
