Temple Garden, Alozaina, Andalucia

From the kitchen window I’ve often admired a dramatic red gorge that
cuts across the Sierra Prieta – it’s a view from Cortijo de las Nieves that magical.

Today by chance we went up to this gorge on this magical mountain
to a place called ‘Temple Garden’.

This retreat and home of artisan and
alternative pioneer, Adrian is a special corner of Andalucía.

On Sundays, Adrian is offering great
value curry lunches (less than 7 euro a head, drinks extra) in a chilled
ambiance with an alternative vibe.

The short drive to the mountain was wonderful,
with a warm autumn sun- As the hours passed a richly textured sky of cloud rolled
over and the heavens opened! It was so good to sit on the covered terrace and
hear and see the rain fall ensconced with this beautiful rural garden.
