I don’t often make notes on Marbella, but when I do, it’s usually here in Old Town. It’s one of the few parts of this resort city that has real personality. Today was a chance for R & I to catch up with friends and share brunch at Hotel Claude.
The roof terrace affords views to La Concha, the mountain that shelters Marbella from the north, and also out across the roof tops of old town.
This is a family hotel, once a private home. It’s been immaculately restored and has survived the highs and lows of the recent economic cycle, so that’s a testament to the quality of service offered here by the team including Stelica and Maria. Rooms are special, with real touches of luxury. Check out the website for more details.
