Andalucia Diary – Seasonal Travel Notes

Malaga Cathedral Roof Andrew Forbes 1

A new perspective of Malaga – from the roof of the city’s cathedral!

The latest ‘must do’ in Malaga is not a world-class art exhibition or a fancy new gourmet tapas bar. Instead it’s to climb more than 200 steps to a height of over 50 metres to reach the roof the Malaga Cathedral.

Once on the roof there is a walkway that runs the entire perimeter of the cathedral offering 360 degree views of the city.

The roof is open from 10.30am to 14.30 and at the time of writing cost 6 euros (with discounts for residents etc). Max. 50 people each half hour.

By arrangement there are also evening visits too.
