This was a surprising place. I pass Avanto Restaurant so many times on the coast road, but never thought to eat there. So last bank holiday wth the warm winter sun shining, we popped in to enjoy their large terrace. Ordered some white wine and a mixed plate of cured cheese and ham and ended up staying for a late lunch!
The atmosphere is relaxed and quite sophisticated for a beach side restaurant. Service friendly and the food well priced. Not exceptional, but enjoyable and altogether a very good venue.
The national and internationl press are laid out and there are sofas on the terrace for chill out or more formal dining.
I recommend it.
