Andalucia Diary – Seasonal Travel Notes

This is the way to start the day!

Today I had a lot of work to do  – a PR plan to write and calls to make, but being Friday I was lacking motivation! So I thought I’d start the day in true Spanish style. I got up early, met my neighbour Beate and went for a brisk walk along the beach at Estepona.

Then we walked into the old town and stopped off at a typical Churreria, where we had Churros and Hot Chocolate – this is a winning combination of saturated fat and sugar – what better way to beat the blues and start your day! Churros are like long, thin fried doughnuts served warm with thick, hot chocolate for dipping.

They are the classic choice for breakfast (desayuno) or an 11ses mid morning snack (Merindano).
