Easter In Yunquera Andalucia

Easter Sunday, Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park

Went to mountain village of Yunquera for Sunday Lunch – took in the Easter procession. Couldn´t believe even the young kids were involved, taking it all very seriously, carrying a trono with an an icon of Jesus. The kids were also enjoying one of the Easter specialities not seen much outside the villages – bread with a hard boiled egg in it! (A little like the ‘mona de Pascua‘ that one finds in Catalunia and Valencia)
