For this weekend of wine, our home from home was the wonderful boutique hotel of La Fuente de la Higuera, in the Valle del Llano de la Cruz, just outside Ronda. I was last at this property back in 2007 and things have just got better. The rooms are more comfortable than ever with wonderful details.
Our suite has a huge bateau style copper bath tub, living room with open fire and terrace with sweeping views across the valley to Ronda.
Don’t forget the owners, Pom and Tina have the spectacular ‘Lodge’ near the Ronda village of Arriate, available as a fully serviced and catered (or self catering) retreat – a wonderful slice of world class luxury.
