Just a quick note about the Parador at Antequera; it’s a favourite of ours.
We first discovered it when work meant I was in Marbella and R was in Granada, and this was a great place to meet and stay over.
Unlike a typical Parador, this one isn’t in an old monastery or castle; its new build, with a pared back, simple style. The team are very friendly and the restaurant is excellent. There is also a tapas menu that is a welcome addition to the lounge area; and make sure you take breakfast, it’s really good at Parador.
