The weather at the weekend was so great we just had to head out. We rented a small apartment in the seaside resort town of Nerja and decided to make it a weekend of walking, eating and drinking! The town is in a wonderful location with its craggy coast and secret coves, and the striking mountain backdrop of the sierras.
For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that our mega hike through the Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park ended sooner than planned after our picnic, once I realised I had lost the car keys!
Sunday was spend chilling and also exploring the coastal walks along the Pareja Natural Acantilados de Maro – Cerro Gordo.
Off season, on clear sunny day this is a glorious part of Andalucia. A few iphone pics celebrating the area:
